Question by Shy Guy:
With 10 NBA Championships in 30 years, are the Lakers the ideal team in NBA History?
They have won 10 titles since 1980 (more than any team in professional Sports) and have been in 16 NBA finals since 1980. I believe the past 30 years, there has been no team in sports superior than the Lakers. They are only one championship behind the Celtics and have historically been the superior team lately. I believe the only teams superior in pro sports are the Canadians of the NHL and the Yankees.

Question by DP:
How did the nba draft work during the years of the vietnam war?
Back in the years of the Vietnam War, The Selective Service Act forced all males from ages 18-26 to sign up for the draft…

Question: College graduates could be drafted. were guys entering the nba draft free from getting drafted to the military or was there a chance they could be drafted?
yeah but back in the 60′s most of the players entering the nba draft were college graduates making them not immuned to the military draft

——————————————

Answer by Adfg
i think if ur in college you dont get drafted to war.
**edit

then im stumped. maybe they picked people out of high school? or people playing streetball? something.

Question by too fast 4 u 123:
Can an nba team draft a player coming out in next years draft the year before?
Like larry bird. For example could a team of drafted john wall in the 2009 nba draft because they knew he was coming out in the 2010 draft. Its kindof a stupid question but i always wondered if a team could, is that rule still in place.

——————————————

Answer by Ctownbrown
no…they can’t…

but usually euro players stay in europe for an extra year or 2 to pollish their game…so essentially they DO draft for the future but you have to be playing some kind of professional basketball ie: rubio and cleveland’s first pick…christian eyanga

——————————————
