How do players get hurt in NBA Live 08?
Hi Guys! I have NBA Live 08 and I am playing dynasty mode and I would want some players to get hurt so that they had miss couple of games. However they never get hurt and I dont know how to change that. I tried setting and gameplay and then user setting but it doesnt state anything about frequecy of injuries. Can somebody tell me how to get my players injured? Thnx.

Well the more you play a guy, the more likely they are to get hurt usually, also players with low stamina ted to get hurt more often, also try playing players with no energy

Which current NBA players do you see becoming commentators in the future?
Former NBA stars sometimes go on to become commentators when they retire from the NBA. Examples: Reggie Miller, Charles Barkley, Magic Johnson. Which current players do you think would make good commentators? I was gonna state Shaq but he mumbles a lot and doesn’t talk with enough clarity. What do you guys think?

Why do some NBA fans insult players who use their strength but not players who use speed?
Some nba fans have stated shaq and barkley did not play fair by using their power to get to rim and posting up and some state the same with Lebron. However they never stated the same thing with jordan who basically was a poor long range shooter and ok mid-range shooter but not as good as miller was who used his speed and athletism to get to the rim numerous times.

I mean, all they have to do is pay luxury taxes, and then they can spend a lot. For instance, New York Knicks can pay as much as they want for Lebron James, as long as they are willing to pay taxes to the NBA. Is that right?

Absolutely not.

The NBA has what is called a ‘soft’ salary cap, which means there are several way to go a bit beyond. But most of them involve keeping established players and signing rookies, even if that would push them over. The cap is specifically against wealthy teams simply outbidding others for players like LeBron. Here is a link:

NBA is so gansta! Ya think they will be wearing the low-rider shorts soon? Perhaps a crooked hat and some bling for the refs?
I meant the elastic around their knees. Some of them would play thar way, if they thought they looked cool. LOL

How do players get drafted into the nba?
Well I want to play in the NBa and I am still in high School and I do not comprehend how players get drafted? Do they just get a phone call and it states “You have been entered in the NBA draft” Or do the players send a letter to the NBA saying that they want.

And then what about those players like John Wall, Blake Griffin, Derrick rose (1st round picks) get drafted so fast even after being a freshman or so in college.

Second you must have a year of college
Third if your good in college they will send scouts and contact you
