Has an NBA team ever had a bad begin but still won the Championship?

I searched using yahoo and I could not find the answer to this. Does anyone know if an NBA team has ever had a bad begin (the first few months of the season) but still pulled off a championship?

You guessed it my team is really bad right now (so far) but there is a chemistry problem that I hope will be resolved soon.
