John Stockton. He was in the Finals twice against the Bulls and lost twice against them and he played his heart and missed a few clutch shots, which was uncharacteristic of him. He is a career leader in assists and steals. Excellent play maker. The Utah Jazz booed him on draft day, yet by the end of his career, they immortalized him on a statue near the arena. He didn’t complain and just loved the game. I wished his career would have ended in a championship, but he still has my respect.
I agree with Bill. Stockten did more than his share.
Today I would go with Dirk. He too has done it all without the ring. Guys like CP3 and Carmelo come to mind but at least they are still young.
All Time. Patrick Ewing. The guy deserved at least one.
I agree with Stockton. The man played his heart out and really deserved a ring.
Steve nash. He took his team into playoffs and stuff. But they always lose to the same team, the spurs.
