No. I’m in 7th grade and I don’t have any problems with shooting or dribbling. You could drop out of school and practice nothing but basketball until you are good enough though.
ask all the other losers that asked this quesiton. no offense but nba is not as easy as it looks. ask me, i had a dream. i realised you dont need skills but lots of luck. cuz when you get in that court its all you or nothing. nba stars are in a shape that would take years for an average person to get in to.
Practice, Practice, Practice. You can try joining an amateur team or play basketball against guys at your local gym or park. Also I suggest that you work on dribbling the ball and shooting. I take it that you are not sure what position you want to play?
Depending upon your body type, you will have to get yourself in good physical shape. Start out by building a foundation (running 1-3 miles and light weights). Then you could do some sprints when you get into better shape. This will build up your legs and stamina.
Becoming a professional ball player is a hard long road. Be prepared for the journey and good luck!
