WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME AN NBA CONFERENCE WAS DECIDED ON THE LAST DAY OF THE REGULAR SEASON?

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. This season in the NBA has been great. I keep listening to reports and reading them on the web and cannot find this out. Does anyone know?

Well, there’s usually some playoff spots that are up for grabs until the last game every year, but I don’t think it has ever been at a magnitude or on a scale of this proportion. I mean what was it in the west: spots 3 through 8 weren’t know until the last day. It was crazy, I can’t wait for the playoffs to start!
