the 2k series is more of a simulator, while live is more of drive to the hoop and dunk or layup because you can move through defenders………….imo 2k is better, and if you check game reviews it has been for the last 5 years.
2k is much more realistic…however…nba live is much more fun to play and the online is MUCH better than 2k….
really if you ask me….the only think 2k has on live is the graphics and the superstar mode….if you like playing online then play nba live
Both are great games, but both emphasize offense too much. I would go with 2k though, because they should get their servers fixed. Live’s servers are fully working though. The CPU in Live doesn’t seem to cheat as much, but Live is too easy to win. 2K’s CPU cheats a lot. Alley-oops are so frequent in 2k, at least 5-6 a game for the CPU. The CPU in 2K also makes really unfair passes right past defenders who are looking at the ball.

The difference is that 2K is better.
they both have online play.
NBA 2K10, it’s a good real simulation game, and has great graphics, its very realistic, has live updates, super fun online play, and has cool features.
NBA LIVE 10 is like an arcade basketball game, that has decent graphics, and fun online play
i think NBA 2K10 is the better game, i like online more on 2K10, graphics are better no doubt, and its more realistic.
get NBA 2K10
